Argentinian Dancers
On a recent visit to New Delhi, India, I visited the Dolls Museum there. It houses a large collection of dolls from all over the world. Its a great place to show to your children. In the 1970’s it was the best global exposure a parent could give to his child, without leaving the country!
As a child when I used to see the dolls there, they seemed very interesting in their exotic costumes. The Argentinian dolls portraying dancers, were dressed in the most flamboyant dresses. These were traditional clothes made with layers and layers of silky, lacy and colorful fabric. The attached painting of two Fuchsia flowers reminds me of those!
