Reflections of Life

‘Reflections of Life’ is a short story about the metamorphosis of a yuppie architect into a passionate gardener and in becoming so, how she lands up harvesting a bounty of true happiness, to last a lifetime. To those among you who are put off by foreign names or who stop reading because there are ethnic names in a book, I have a cure! It is to inform you about its meaning before you start reading the story.

The yuppie architect is named Akaina. It is an American Indian name and means ‘the bounty of the Fall season’. When you place it in the context of this story, you will understand how appropriate it is. Now without further delay, I present you Reflections of Life.

Thank you all for your time, patience and interest.

Ratna
