      As the winter morphs into Spring, I cannot help but think what a wonderful painter Mother Nature is. The five photos above show the morphing landscape. If you look at it as an oil painting, notice how the ‘Winter Blizzard’ looks like a hazy sketch in brown charcoal on white canvas. As the snow melts off the branches, the barks of the trees look like bold and well defined charcoal strokes, on a white canvas with hazy gray shadows. Once the snow melts, you start seeing hints of color in the green grass. As time progresses, if you look closely the appearance of spring bud leaves is like a gentle spray painting. With the passage of time the canvas is full of lovely lush green. I know Spring is not here yet, but till then we can enjoy this process of watching the winter petering off into the promise of a lush green Spring :)
