I did check the website out. Very interesting and well written. You definitely observe day to day life from a different lens. Here is a marketer’s comment on the site. For such a sunny person, why such a black background to the blog.

Hey Ratna,
I read your synopsis yesterday. Sounds great. Am sure it is only a matter of time. I like your blog.
I acutally like the black background because it is stylish and makes your pictures pop.

HI Ratna,
Thanks for letting me know. I read the story or should I say ‘reflections’ and I can relate to this so much. Just this past month I got several indoor plants (which I had long given-up) and my kid and I truly enjoy watching them grow and change. In fact, Nadia has a Bonsai, that she read to and talked to when it was wilting away. Needless to say, the plant in glowing! She named the plant Anjali. She was influenced by a story she read about talking to plants…and also JC Bose biography from Amar Chitra Katha.
The kids have named all the plants…
I have promised that we will have a flower and vegetable garden this spring!
And my dream is to have a glass house too…
And I do believe life passes by so quickly that one should take time to smell the roses along the way…
So I loved your short story…

On the story: ‘ Reflections of Life ‘
Dear Ratna,
I am AMAZED at what you have created! I had no idea you have a writer in you. Just reading your story was therapeutic and made me feel I was in your garden. How well you have channelled yourself from architect to mother to gardener to writer….very beautiful, admirable, enviable…
I hope you find a publisher soon…
Love,
Meera.

Dear Ratna,
I got my road band functioning and saw your blog in detail. Amazing. Incredible. You write so well and are genuinely creative. Frankly it came to me as a surprise. You are our Ratna but the many facets of this jewel were not known to us. We are proud of you. The words chosen and the flow of narration is good. All you need is a publisher. May be Delhi based Penguin India will be proper forum. You just need contacts. After it is done in English, Granthali can do Marathi version.
